How do i clean up D drive

Specs: Windows Vista
On start Rec. D is all red? how do i delete?

What you mean is that you disk is full?

Well in that case, you do not neccessarily have to delete the drive, what you need to do is to clean up what you do not need. Delete files you no longer need. or move files to an external drive.

if this isnt what you are asking then provide some proper details of what you are experiencing and maybe someone can help.

To offer advice it is vital to know what the D: drive is. The drive letter itself means nothing. If this is a recovery partition it should not be touched.

I would suggest d: may well be your recovery partition, which shows full because they make the partition just big enough for the image. If you delete that you may have deleted your recovery, so I would be checking before I deleted anything.

faizy86, not so quick....D drive is probably his/her recovery partition....not good advice till we find out what the poster actually means
