Specs: Windows Vista
my screen is too far to the right i can not use anything on the right. i have a dell running on vista

It’s possibly a registry key issue. Open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type regedit, press Enter and in the left pane navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. In the right pane check that the following two values, WallpaperOriginX and WallpaperOriginY are 0 (zero). If not, right-click each, click Modify and make them both zero. Restart the computer.

If you’re apprehensive about making changes to registry values, create a system restore point first.

Many monitors have a set of control buttons. Usually on the bottom of the frame. Some of them can be used to move the screen left or right on the monitor, some to set brightness, contrast and other stuff.
