Solved How can I run Windows Media Player in Google Chrome?

Specs: Windows XP
Some sites won't play media, but would prompt to download media player. Downloaded, but never works.

Speech is slow but it looks like it's just a matter of dragging the crx file into the right place in Chrome, rather than trying to open it.

Thanks for your prompt response. I have tried this method many times, but I fail to open the file. I get a prompt which says that "This file does not have a program associated with it...". What to do?

Do you mean the file downloaded as per #1 are do you mean the music file?
