Google redirects me to a third party when searching

December 14, 2011 at 07:39:40
Specs: Windows Vista
Google (and other search engines) redirect me to a third party website when clicking on a particular link. I think it is a virus. I was using Internet Explorer when it started doing this, but then downloaded Safari and it still does the same thing. Everything else on the computer seems to be okay. Do I need to get an anti-virus?

Yes, you need an antivirus and more.

See if you can at least try to install microsoft's security essentials.

All computer users should have an anti-virus, especially when there are free ones about which work well, eg:

Avast.
Microsoft Security Essentials.
AVG.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
