Fujitsu-Siemens Recovery overriding os

Specs: Windows Vista
I can safely say I know nothing about computers so if I get any information or terminology incorrect I apologise.
I have recently restored my Fujitsu Amilo Pa3553 to factory default settings and have misplaced my recovery discs (1 of the 3 recovery discs)
(Knowing nothing about computers) I tried to install Windows 7 onto the laptop from a disc. The installation appeared successful up to the point of finalization in which my computer restarted and immediately went into the Fujitsu-Siemens Computer Recovery, giving only one option, the option to restore the laptop to factory default settings again.

Every time I now start the laptop it goes straight to Recovery and ignores the os I installed, if I click 'cancel' my laptop shuts down and if I click 'next' an error message appears ('document.getElementById(...)' is null or not an object Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?) followed by (Object doesn't support this property or method. Do you want to keep running scripts on this page?) The same messages repeat if 'yes' is clicked.

I would like to know if there is any solution to this besides the original recovery discs or if anyone is able to copy the recovery discs for me.

factory restore restores the OS to the way it came from the factory.
there should be no need to install windows 7

what OS is there after the factory restore?
during the win7 install did you delete any partitions?

You would contact Fujitsu about replacing the recovery disks.
Sounds like you need them to complete the factory restore.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

When I factory reset it deleted the OS (Vista). I used the windows 7 disc, went into repair, used command prompt and it's working now, however my wireless adapter won't turn on and the usual switch (Fn + F1) doesn't work. Any ideas how I can resolve this problem?

Thanks for your help btw
