From the looks of it you have tried firefox with safe mode and it still crashes? This is kinda odd because you often see errors like this with plug ins, and safe mode runs without.(Open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.)

I can only presume that you have already tried the reset

Does it give an error when it stalls, or just stall out?

have you looked here

I did reset firefox over a month ago and for a few weeks at least no crashes. Then crashes started to occur again.
I have tried safe mode no crashes while in safe mode but I was only in safe mode for around 20 minutes.
The addons I have installed are:
avast online security 9.0.2006.53
dashline 2.2.1.47547
realdownloader 1.3.3
when checking for updates for the addons none were found.
I do not get an error message. I just get pop up that says firefox has crashed.

Are you bu chance using Norton as well? I see that you are using avast, and supposedly it has been known to cause issues with the newest version of firefox.

Firefox recently froze (Not Responding). It did not crash. I had Dashlane and Troubleshooter add ons disabled. I had to close and reopen firefox. I had 7 tabs/windows of firefox opened when it froze. All tabs/windows were restored when reopened.

When I had 7 tabs/windows of Firefox opened recently Firefox froze (Not Responded) but did not crash. Dashlane and Troubleshooter were disabled when Firefox froze. All the tabs/windows were restored once I closed and reopened Firefox.

Try disabling real downloader.

I had issues with that once as well as with having the stand alone version of flash interfere with the flash for firefox.

Also firefox 25 update is out but I suspect it is an addon/plug in issue.

To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer!

Don't forget to close and reopen the browser after making changes.

Thanks for the SS, make sure your Vista bit mode matches Firefox & your Add-ons.
