(hard drive) :\Documents and Settings\ (name of the user) \Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ (name of the profile) bookmarks.html

the bookmarks are saved in HTML file, so...if you want to import them, go to Bookmarks Tab >> Import and Backup >> Import from HTML >> Locate the HTML file...

The information posted above is for Windows XP only.

In Vista (and Win7) your firefox bookmark is located under the folder

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

where <user> is your account name. Also, bear in mind that the subfoldder AppData is a hidden folder. You need to go to Control Panel, open Folder Options, and enable Show hidden files and folders.
