Specs: windows vista home p 32 bit, C521
To who ever can help me. I forgot my log in password. So from there I ended up in BIOS settings. From there I somehow managed to make up and set a password for the settings password. I know that password tho ! But now in F2 I can't get the right sequence to boot my windows CD to repair or put the computer back to beginning. And F12 those settings are frozen. I cant move nothing. It says failure..when I try and RUN the CD. It says I don't have it on the right boot drive. Please help me. Thanks..Gina !

You must really love setting passwords. You should probably take a break from that if you're not going to remember them.

I'm not clear on the error messages you're getting but you need to go into cmos/bios setup and set your optical drive as the first boot device. Then try the Vista disk again.
