dos 6.2 or dr dos: how can add thes

Specs: Windows Vista
I just got a cpr running vista (It's ok) but I miss my dos 6.2. can you load 6.2 on my disc without messing up anything?

The only way that I know of with Vista is to use DOS in a virtual machine, which is basically a software program that "emulates" another computer. You can run anything you want without messing up your main operating system.

There are many free ones ot there, like Bochs, Qemu, and Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, but my favorite is VirtualBox (which is also free). You can download it here:

It's really easy to use. Just install VirtualBox, pull it up, click New. Go through the wizard, selecting how much of your physical RAM you want for it, etc. Things will probably make sense after you mess around with it.
