Explain what you mean by default drive?

The only default drives in Windows are those defined by the user and it is usually a default for a particular purpose.

what exactly did you do to make c: no longer your default drive?
Did you change what partition is active?

Go into Disk Manager and tell us what is listed under d: and c:
for example my c: has boot, active, pagefile etc.
what does your's show?

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
