connect a second router (lynksys) to a thomson router

I'm trying to add a second router (linksys wrt54g) to my primary router (thomson tg782 ) via an ethernet cable in order to have wireless internet in the furthest part of my house but I'm not sure if they're compatible with each other.Can a linksys router be connected to a thomson router?

If you can configure the routers properly, any two routers can be used together. You will need to enter the setup on one of the routers and disable DHCP, so that only one router gives out IP addresses. Other than that, you should be able to link the two routers together with an ethernet cable and it should work fine.
