Specs: Windows Vista
vista running computer keeps rebooting, I press F12 to change the start up sequence to reboot from the disk drive but the selection doesn't move and the computer freezes on that screen. How can I get this computer working again. How can I get the computer reboot from the disk drive.

While the computer is powered down remove all peripherals except your keyboard and mouse.

Try tapping the F8 key (in 1 second intervals after you power it on) during startup until you get the advanced startup options.

Select "last known good configuration" and hit enter.

Let us know how this goes.
