Computer decided it wont turn on.

Specs: Windows Vista
So... Where to begin. My computer decided about a month ago that it didn't want to turn on. I tinkered around trying unplugging, and what not, nothing seemed to work. Frustrated i left it plugged in, and went for a beer run. I came back, hit the power button and boom, just like magic it turned on. Now everytime we lose power from a power outage, or it being unplugged or whatever, it has to sit for a an amount of time before it will turn on, sometimes it takes forever, sometimes minutes. Even though my computer wont turn on the green light on my USB speakers are on, which means the computer is getting some power right? The most recent time this happened it has not turned back on, anyone got some trouble shooting ideas, or have a guess on what needs replaced?

You say, " Frustrated i left it plugged in, and went for a beer run. "

Do you always leave your PC unplugged off the wall power outlet when not in use ?

Did you check M/B battery to see if it ran down and is not holding BIOS settings ?

This could also be a poor ram stick connection , re-seat the ram .
When this happens it may be any number of loose or poor connections to the MoBo .
