You can't download to a cd. It's too slow. You download to the drive then burn to cd.

Not sure what your thinking is concerning the vb install error. Won't make any difference if on cd.

Specifically what is the vb error?

Have you tried viewing other cds in the cd player.

BTW its rude to type in caps as that is considered LOUD

I don't think you are understanding the question I put a Cd in to see if myCd/ROm was working (when I clicked on the dvd rw drive E) nothing was showing on the cd. I know the cd has a whole alblum on it. Problem #1
Problem #2 I was trying to intall vb 2008 express edtion (free download no key needed) and I get this error and this is the exact verbage-SETUP.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING-(big blue letters) Below that it says A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and let you know if a solution is available.

Now I was told bt one of the students in my class that he had problems downloading vb2008 also. He said to download the file to a cd-one that does data/program files. That is what I was trying to do BUT my dvd rw drive doesn't seem to be working. According to Problem #1
Hope this clarifies my problem.
I know no was in a hurry last night (Sorry)
thanks for the HELP!!
