The Suggested Sites has been disabled under Internet Options,Tools, Internet Options, Advanced but still it shows. I have tried right clicking Suggested Sites on the Fav bar, but right clicking doesn't work.

Tried:: In Windows Explorer\Tools\Foulder Options\View\, check Show Hidden Files.

Open C:\Users\{user with problem}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Feeds\{long number}~\.

but Feeds\(long number) didn't show up.

So I am still stuck. Any suggestions? Also tried to find out how much RAM I have under All Programs - Accessories - Systems Tools - System Information - System Summary but message there says Cant Collect Information. I might be wrong but so many issues these days seem to be down to malware. While you are waiting for other ideas run these safe and widely used freebies in the order given:

AdwCleaner:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(blue Download button near top - not anything else on the page).
Download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run the program. Use the "Scan" button, followed by the "Cleaning" button.

Junkware Removal Tool (JRT)
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
(blue Download button near top - not anything else on the page).
Download and "Save" the file somewhere. Go to the saved file then double click it to run JRT. It might appear to have stopped at times or flash the screen but sit tight until it has finished.

MalwareBytes:
http://filehippo.com/download_malwa...
(green Download button top right - not anything else on the page)
Install and Run the program but before doing its Scan go to "Settings > Detection and Protection" and put a checkmark in "Scan for rootkits". Quarantine anything it finds.

Please copy/paste the logs on here because even if the symptoms are cured you are likely to still have things lurking around that require further cleaning.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

For the memory amount, right click on My Computer, then click Properties - it's listed under System. Or press Control-Alt-Del, click Start Task Manger, then click the Performance tab - it's listed under Physical Memory (MB).

As for disabling suggested sites, see the following: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/...

Malware Bytes identified 2 PUP's and that seemed to work. I was able to delete the Suggested Sites that I didn't want. Thank you so much.

"Malware Bytes identified 2 PUP's and that seemed to work"
Seemed to work is the operative word, this malware is like cancer, you have to get it all.

Even after running the 3 programs, there will be more work to be done.

Copy & Paste the contents of the logs please.
