I see Jack Frost has answered the question but his answer was a little too technical for me or simply didn't work. I have two dangling torrentworlds.net files in a folder which I cannot remove. I tried the del command but it didn't work. The message was it was not a proper command. I suppose I should not have put in the desktop part which preceded it. Could someone do a step by step for removal? I am not sure how to hunt for the directory etc. Many thanks.
Try deleting that file in safe mode. I am sure it would work > Restart your computer
> Hit "F8" in boot menu
> Select "Safe Mode"
> Now go to that particular file and delete it.Thank you :-)
No go. I knew it wasn't going to work but thought I would try it anyway. The file doesn't really seem to exist so it simply cannot be deleted.
