Can't access a particular site.

March 31, 2011 at 11:31:05
Specs: Windows Vista 64 bit, Intel Duo 2.4/4.0 GB
I can't access a particular website by entering the address manually in my browser, or by selecting a link in the e-mail wich I recieve from that site on a regular basis. Iv'e added it to my trusted sites, and it is not listed in my restricted ones, nor is it listed in the "Hosts" folder. I can access the site from my wifes desktop using XP, and from my friends laptop using Windows 7, but not from mine. I have no difficulty with any other website sat all. I'm using IE but have also tried Firefox. I even contacted the individual to inform him of my problem. He sent me an e-mail with another link and told me ,"That should work" but it didn't. Any ideas?
Thank you.
Peter

I guess it could be a cache problem. Clear cache and try again.

Could be firewall issue.

Use a search page to find that web site and try to click on it from there.

use command nslookup www.thatsitename.whatever

If it returns an IP try that IP in the browser line.

http://www.google.com/search?q=www....

Then click on the link. Does it work?
