Solved cannot open a dos program on Vista

Specs: Windows Vista
Hi : I purchased a registry cleaner" Laptop toolbox "yesterday and ran it. Now I can't open a
dos based program that I still need to use. When I try and start it ,a box comes
up saying
SYSTEM\ Current Control Set\ Control\Virtual Device Drivers,VDD format in the
registry is invalid.
Any ideas to fix?

✔ Best Answer
System restore to a time prior to installing the absolutely useless software.

Unfortunately you wasted your money.

Thanks for the reply. When I try to create a system restore it defaults to todays date and time to restore and what I enter comes out as a description. What am I doing wrong?
