I uninstalled the NetZero program from the computer. There were two shortcuts that were still on the screen. I was able to put one of them into the Recycle Bin and to delete it, but the computer will not let me delete the other one. It comes up with the "Item Not Found" error. It goes on to say, "This is no longer located in ..." Clicking the "Try Again" button has proven to be useless. Do I really have to have to program in the computer in order to delete the shortcut or is there a way to get rid of it without reinstalling the program back into the computer?
Did you try after reboot or from Safe Mode? "Move on boot" freebie (or similar) should do it, if not use a Linux Live CD to access and delete file.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Thanks alot. After I restarted the computer, I saw that the shortcut finally disappeared. I'm glad there are smart people like you to help those of us who know what we want to do, but don't know exactly what to do or how to do it.
Glad to hear its out of your hair and thx for popping back to let us know. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
