Acer / M5630

Specs: Windows Vista
i have been using my acer aspire m5630 for a little over 3 years... it's not the best pc in the world but it works for music production and some games which is all i need.

up until about 6 months ago it worked great... then i started to notice some programs (especially sony acid) were not working very well so i cleaned house and uninstalled unnecessary programs tweaked some system settings (tweak vi). also disabled some services using a reputable guide.

during a malware scan i discovered the problem was a "worm" that was creating all the crazy system processes that i knew were bad but couldn't delete them. i was able to fix my worm with ComboFix... everything seemed fine after that.

about a month after i started getting

then things worked fine up until now...

i cleaned the entire cpu today from the inside with compressed air, even opened the power supply and cleaned all the crap out of that.

unfortuntely i crash when i am playing games.... but it doesnt crash when im not gaming even if im on for hours, but will crash within first 10 mins of a game. any ideas :/ i upgraded to vista sp2

It might be overheating-have you checked the cpu and graphics card temperatures after gaming ? You should also update your video drivers. What video card do you have ?
