|The default behaviour of Windows on a BSOD is to display an error message and immediately restart.|
The error message on the blue screen may not be displayed long enough to record the error information. This prevents you from reading the STOP error message and to verify the cause of failure.
To collect and record important information about the STOP error message and to verify the cause do the following:
Click Start, then Right click on My Computer, then select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
Click and Clear the Automatically restart check box under System failure, and then click OK.
Next time the error occurs, the error message on a blue screen should remain on the screen allowing you to record the error information.
You can then google this information to try and understand the reasons behind this error.
Hopefully this will lead you to the cause and thus the solution.
☺ When everything else fails, read the instructions.
