Acer PQSERVICE PARTITION Vista

February 20, 2011 at 11:13:27
Specs: Windows Vista
I have an Acer 5730, I had a nasty virus, restored my computer to factory default a few times and my Recovery partition became infected with the virus. My Acer eRecovery Management Icon is missing and I'm unable to download it, my Alt+F10 options at start up doesn't work anymore :( but My PQSERVICE hidden Partition still seems to be there, it's marked as [Not Active] 9.77 GB used and 2.18 GB unused space.
Is it ok to set it as active? Or is that a big No No?!
My OS has always been Vista, I never installed any other OS and my DVD RW drive doesn't read discs anymore, I think it has something to do with the MBR as well.
Plz Help! :(

You need a anti virus to help clean it up for you.

Like AVG,Nod32 or any antivirus.
