I noticed alot of this problem was going around in 2009 were using yahoo, google and a bunch of other search engines would redirect the link to another thing that was completely unrelated. I've been tracking this thing down for the last 3 days and today alone I spend about 9 hours looking into the problem and runing all sorts of tests. There are no viruses on my computer or spyware but there was viruses like a week ago and maybe something got modified not sure really though all I know is that my computer is clean now. Hope you can help. Im not sure why a problem from 2009 has resurfased I know my firewall got turned off somehow and I turned it back on but some were in that time frram all of this started happening.

Use command line. nslookup www.google.com and see what returns on both your broken computer and a known working computer. Are they the same?

See a file called hosts too. It is under win/system32/drivers/etc
It may be causing this too.

If I type things in or right click a hyperlink and get its address copy/paste it then it works fine, the problem is when I click links in these search engines.
Im pretty sure that the problem im having is called "the google virus" which was also around alot in 2009.
Also like I said I ran all sorts of tests yesterday not just anti spyware and anti virus but also ones checking for errors and such.
