I have 5 computers in a LAN and 4 are using XP and 1 is using WIN NT 4.0 My problem is that I cannot see the other 4 computers on the network on my WIN NT machine. When I go to Microsoft Windows Network I see the workstation group and is the same as the other 4 computers but when I click on that I see only 1 computer which is WIN NT(self)
Please help me so that I can be able to make this work.
Thanks!
Is your NT computer running Service Pack 6a? There are known problems with earlier versions.

Service Pack 6 High-Encryption
If for some reason your system does not accept the high-encryption version, here's the standard version:
sdfox7 I have downloaded service pack 6 so now what must I do?
I think, that NT4 sp6 is the best solution for my old computer 5ALI61 with Cyrix M II-300 and 128 Mb RAM. I want to make the linux internet - station on this hardware. The "stone" keep Me inside of magic frame. I can't to install ubuntu, debian and xp. What is your hardware? Why it keeping you around NT4?
