PC 1 has Windows XP Professional, and CD drive.
PC 2 has HDD with scratch Win NT 5 OS but does not accept CD drive.
I have connect the Hard Drive of PC 2 to PC 1 as drive D.
How can I install Win NT 5 OS to that drive and use it after that as default drive to PC 2 ??
Technically, there is no such thing as WinNT5. NT4 was the last "NT-only" version to reference a version number (the next would have been Win2000). It's never a good idea to try to move a primary drive after an OS installation (which sounds something like what you're attempting) unless the machines are identical (even then there can be problems). It would be better to try to get a CD drive working on "PC2" and install the OS (whether it be NT4 or Win2K) there.

Create a DOS bootable USB-Stick.
On that Stick, create a folder named NTinst and copy the whole installation CD into that folder.Boot PC2 from the USB-Stick, then do the following:
cd \NTinst
cd i386
winntYou should now get the installation screen.
During installation make sure, you select the correct hard drive, to install the operating software to.
