|I think my motherboard, which is an AOpen A6x (maybe...I can't remember exactly) takes up to 1.5 gigs...with PC133 being so cheap, I just got a load of 256MB modules and wound up with a gig. If I had 2 512 modules, I'd do the entire 1.5. I'm running Opera on the system now while connected directly to my FIOS router with an ethernet cable. It's surprisingly quick...I'd put it not far behind my Macbook 2.0 from 2005. Not as quick, mind you, but not slow either. |
I won't go back to 98 if I don't need to. ME is the 9x architecture, correct? I'm using this system, mainly, to play my games on from the 90's. I've had some trouble getting Elder Scrolls: Arena and System Shock to work (DOS based games so it's tweak this, tweak that), but I've been able to play everything else and download updates or, in the case of DOOM, new .WAD files.
So I take it I need to find one of the adapters from the first response, one with an antenna? That would work best?
