Specs: Windows 95
I just created a Windows 95 virtual machine, and it says "Starting Windows 95" but it boots into MS-DOS. Why?

" Well, I dont have any CDs for Win95. How am I supposed to make my virtual machine?"

Are you familiar with writing an ISO to CD/DVD disc?

Write the image to CD, then install under the virtual machine (which you don't mention which VM software you're using)...

How much RAM did you dedicate to Win95? 512MB might work but I suggest you set it lower. Try 256MB, you can always change it later.

I used X because I didn't know which letter the VM would use. How did you go about installing Win95? Which version or disc did you use? There were 7 of them.

I think I got OSR2. I also downloaded an iso image, not inserted a CD into my PC.

"I think I got OSR2. I also downloaded an iso image, not inserted a CD into my PC."

Specifically what do you mean? Did you not install Win95? Downloading an ISO does nothing.
