use this steps:
Ex.
Copy bhe.txt E:\Docume~1\Username\desktop


then it works.. !! :)))

I think there was a thread a couple down from this one where someone asked about copying a file or folder from the desktop but it's been moved or removed. I'm guessing that's why the solution to a question apparently not asked was posted here.

Looks like someone discovered those old dos commands still work!

Still there was no X:\Docume~1\Username\desktop in Win 95/98.
