How do I connect to DSL using Windows 98?

Specs: Windows 22.03.2010
I have Verizon DSL with a wireless router. It has a USB cable attached and I am connected wireless with another computer. I would like to connect an old computer using Windows 98 on the USB cable.

You will need Windows 98 (unknown version) USB drivers..............doubt available !

It would be easier to use Ethernet RJ45 Cable Connection, PCI Ethernet cards are still readily available for Windows 98 First and Second Editions.

I agree. Ethernet is the way to go.
