Specs: Windows Vista
I have an old windows 95 in my basement that currently has no internet on it I have broadband internet on my other computers and I have a router (wireless) too. I was looking at the linksys LNE100TX Ethernet card to install into it but I don`t want to buy it to find out that it doesn't work I was also looking at a parallel to Ethernet adapter but again I don`t want to buy it to find out that it doesn't work. My windows 95 version is: Windows 95 9.00 4.50 B.

Please help! Thanks in advance

That card was issued in 1998 and is compatible with Windows 95 and Windows 98.

The easiest way to install it is to plug it in, boot Windows 95. It will detect the card and prompt you for the drivers which are on floppy. Point it to the A: drive and load the drivers. Then go to Control Panel and reinstall TCP/IP so it can correctly configure the adapter. (This requires the Windows 95 disc/disks). Then reboot and you should be online.
