Specs: Windows 98
dell c610 desktop window doesn't fill screen. Previous owner indicated it to be outdated video card drivers

could it be something much simpler.? If I recall correctly this laptop had video card combined in the motherboard. Also laptop isnt connected to the net-all modems long gone-so downloading cant be done unless to another PC them jump drived onto the laptop..or is that not the way ro proceed

any IDEAS?

This is the driver download page for that model:

You can download and try reinstalling the video drivers.

Thanks for the driver page but I cant download it as the laptop has no modem or other connection to the Net. I dowloaded the driver to another PC, then to a jump drive.. I inserted the jump drive into the old laptop and it then searched for a driver to run the jump drive..futile as there was no internet and the Dr4ive only raN ON wIN xp OR LATER

stuck again......has to be a solution other than buying a modem and going the dial up route as my home is entirely wireless now cept for the phone BAsed internet.

I havent used a modem in 9 yrs

You could burn the files to CD (assuming the machine has a CD drive) or try the "generic" Win98 mass-storage drivers for your flash drive:

"Channeling the spirit of jboy..."
