Specs: Windows 64
Cannot restore my PC running windows 8.1 to an earlier point in time. Having problems.

I have three other critical problems. I am not sure they are related. The new problems are as follows:

Audio Service Not Running - Hardware changes might not have been detected. I am not able to fix this problem using the with the control panel.

Not Connected - No Connections are available. In the control panel I get a message that says "Windows did not detect any networking hardware.

Important Message - Turn on Windows Security Service . When I try to turn it on it says "The windows Security Center Service can't be turned on on.

Try running the utility here; as it has resolved one or two similar problems in the past for me (win-7).

www.tweaking.com.

It's a free, safe to use; and does what it says.

It's free but they do appreciate a wee donation if you feel so inclined.

Have you tried simply restarting the machine. If not then it is worth a try because it reloads everything in memory and resets everything to its initial state. It may be simple, but it often helps and is always worth trying first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
