I was downloading some plugins on my computer and the instruction told me to delete some registries, "win32node" or something like that...after deleting I tried shutting down the computer by clicking on the red power button but an error message appeared. I then forced shut down my win 8 PC ( Acer M5-481PT). After restarting, the start screen/login had suddenly changed from regular English font to Marlett. The power button that's usually on the right side of the login screen has disappeared. No other options but to force shut down. Someone please help. I can't even reset or refresh without the power button/icon which has disappear ed from the login screen.
You can do a factory restore. Here is how to peform a factory restore on your Acer M5:
1. Restart your laptop2. When you see the Acer logo screen, press and hold down the Alt key and then press the F10 key several times until you see Acer eRecovery screen
3. Once the Acer eRecovery has loaded, select one of the available options to restore, such as Restore Operating System to Factory Defaults or Restore Operating System and Retain User Data
4. From there, just follow the on-screen instructions to finish the recovery process which takes approximately 20 minutes

ccleaner isn't going to fix a deleted registry entry, I would do a factory restore as Phil22 has suggested.
As per #3. CCleaner doesn't fix registries, it only removes "invalid" entries. If you tap F8 while booting computer can you get into Safe Mode or even Command Prompt? if so you could do System Restore to before you changed the registry entries. That way you wouldn't loose all your own stuff.
From Command Prompt follow this (Win 8 is same as Win 7):
