Are you sure that's the correct code? Every valid BSOD code should be listed on Microsoft's site, but I don't see yours.

If there is a file mentioned on the BSOD then let us know that too.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I assume you tried #3.

If this problem just suddenly arrived you could try System Restore like this:

1. Start your computer in safe mode with command prompt (F8 option).

2. At the command prompt, type rstrui.exe, and then press ENTER.

If this produces the System Restore screen then choose a point dated before this issue came along.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi Derek. Tried that but the f1-f9 options listed on the blue screen don't respond. It just restarts to the same blue screen. Highly infuriating.

Did you tap the F8 key continuously immediately after you had hit the Power On button?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

First of all, let's be far too hopeful and try a bit of trickery. Turn off the laptop then remove the power from the domestic supply. Take out the main battery. Hold the power off/on button down for about 5 seconds. At odd times this procedure has "unstuck" computers.

Assuming the above doesn't help then take a look at this rather convoluted dialog:
http://www.justanswer.com/computer/...
It might give you some ideas if you have to opt for factory restore.

If you are in warranty then I suppose you could exercise that option.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks for info. If you want to pursue this on the forum please make a new post in your own right. Similar symptoms are not always caused by the same thing so it is better if you get focussed attention. Otherwise consider the warranty.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
