Solved Windows 8 installation Setup is messed up

Specs: Windows 8?
Hi,

I really wanted to install Windows 8 after having it tested in a virtual environment.
But something weird is going on.
During the intial installation process, the screen is "messed up". Whenever I move the mouse, it leaves "traces" and makes the display all weird.

It was really hard going through the installation process but once completed, Windows 8 refused to boot. Anyone knows why?

My computer is not that old and I've looked into the minimum requirements. I don't see anything that might cause trouble. Any ideas?

Specs:
Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+, 2600 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD M2N-TVM 0203, 21/09/2006
Display NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS
4GB of RAM
1TB HDD

I've also used coreinfo to see if my processor supports PAE, NX and SSE2. And it does.

Thanks!

In my opinion, Windows 8 is too new yet for home users to upgrade to. It's best to buy it pre-installed on a new PC or delay the upgrade for many months to give the new OS time to have several issues ironed out.

Evidently there's something about your system that Windows 8 does not like.

I don't think it will be very popular on the PC anyway - it was designed primarily for touch-screen technology to rival the iPad and Android tablet devices. I certainly won't be rushing to get it. Apparently, navigating around it with a traditional mouse is very "clunky". No thanks.

Thanks. I've also managed to realize that it is an NVidia graphics card incompatibility issue.

P.S: Instead of upgrading my graphics card, I've installed the x86 edition of Windows 8 Pro and everything is working well. With 4GB, I'm good to go.
