win 8 does not detect ssd

Specs: Windows 8, amd fx 8150 8gb
loaded win 8 successfully into hitachi 1tbyte. then noted win 8 does not detect the ssd.

SSD = Solid State Disk ?

Install the Chipset Drivers if available.

Does it show up in device manager as an unknown device?

Check your connections, try different SATA/Power cables. Can you connect it externally (through ext. SATA or USB adapter), or to another PC?
In cmd prompt diskpart, list disk: is shown in the list?

What is the relation of SSD to 1 TB HDD ?

I would suggest you had installed W8 on SSD rather than HDD.
