When logging on, asks for disc that I don't have

July 18, 2013 at 06:41:21
Specs: Windows 8
When I log on after the computer is off overnight, it does not connect. Asks for a disc that I don't have and that did not come with the purchase. It takes many tries off/on to get it going. Sometimes it takes me to a screen that asks a lot of questions across the top. I am not computer savvy, so I esc. from that. It is frustrating.
This is a Gateway Windows 8.

What disc is it asking for? What screen does it take you to and what are the questions it asks?

I am not sure which disc. It comes on very faintly on a grey screen and goes off very quickly. If I hit *enter* it just keeps repeating. The screen that ask questions across the top is bright blue. Sorry, until it does it again, which is daily, I cannot answer, BUT thanks for the reply.
