What can I do now with system reserve partition error?

Toshiba / Satellite s50b 64 bit

Specs: Win 8.1, i5-4210U@1.70 8G
Upgrade from Win 8.1 to Win 10 failed -system reserve partition error. I downloaded Mini Tool Partition Wizard .. attempted to follow on-line instructions but that failed. Now I have 300 of 'UNALLOCATED' in graphic and no idea what to do next. I can see the 128 system reserve partition. But I am afraid of ruining my 8.1 system with making a mistake. Advice from Mini-Tool support was to delete the 128 system reserve ... I'm afraid to do that. I am over my head and the 29 July deadline is approaching.

"But I am afraid of ruining my 8.1 system"
A basic of computing is to have a backup/clone of C drive on a spare media.

Once you have that, you can proceed with the use of Mini Tool Partition Wizard or do a clean install of W10 using your W8.1 product key/number.

A clean install of W10 means you delete all the partitions.

How to do a Clean Install of Windows 10, the Easy Way
Download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.
Windows USB/DVD Download Tool
