Specs: Windows XP 8
I just purchased HP with windows 8, i have enable the firewall and loaded most of the Pradigm Keyboarding 6th edition programs i thought it would take, it still doesn't work. I have tried this on an old computer and the program will run (windows 7).

You might be best off contacting thier support services. Under the installation guides it mentions: "Operating System: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP1), or Windows 7"

You can email at pkb@emcp.com

Use the compatibility mode feature of Windows 8. Go here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/...

Scroll down to "Run programs made for previous versions of Windows"

Was the Windows 7 computer 32 or 64 bit (sorry, should have asked at the same time)?

32 bit computers will also run 16 bit.
64 bit computers will also run 32 bit.

I'm wondering if the program is 16 bit. If so then other than some sort of virtual machine type environment there might not be any way around the issue.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
