Seems this problem was discussed a wee while bak and a few ideas offered...

Important item now - is not do anything to the system, install anything, or do anything that may write to the drive - if possible. The less you do the better the chances ofbat least recovering "some - atleast - of your files etc.; as discussed in the above link.

However you resolve this one... would be wise in future to ensure you duplicate all your personal "stuff - files etc - off the system entirely. Make copies to dvd and/or an external hardvdrive. Regularly update cipoes and check them too, to ensure they're OK.

And this from a Dell support site - sort of similsr but brief, with a second link within...

And this one (clearly refers to Windows7 - which is the OS involed at this time?) seems to suggest the system restore routine; presuming you have a restore point for a date earlier to the account deletion...?

Fortunately haven't been in your situation... So not responding from experience... But I do duplicate personal files etc. safely elsewhere... Just in-case a "disaster" of any kind should occur
