Toshiba Satelite laptop not responding

January 18, 2017 at 19:07:55
Specs: Linux
Turned on and a blue screen popped up saying low memory, gathering info and will auto restart. Now it is on the main screen but it's frozen. I can't swipe from left (no cursor), use arrows and when I remove battery and adapter, hold down zero, hold down start button, etc. It brings me right back to the same screen and same situation.

What OS is supposed to run? Windows or Linux?
What does the "Main screen" show?

Not sure what you mean by the "main screen". Do you mean the BIOS screen, the desktop or something else?

Have you tried holding the Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds after turning off the computer, disconnecting power cord and removing main battery? This discharges the motherboard components and has been known to unstick things at odd times.

If the blue screen displays an error code and/or file name then let us know.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
