Any ideas to fix script errors from the experts, since i've tried all other known fixes. Only thing I haven't done is the reset option but not sure I have much confidence in that since this is IE11 & Win8 I've gone and turned off IE from the control panel and works for a while then error comes back The main problem I have with script errors is trying to type a comment on FB or just browsing sites. I also got an error trying to edit this post. go figure message edited by mwoods628

Hitting ESC did not help, they just come right back. In fact the only to getting them to stop is to continue to hit 'no'.... this is on Win8 IE 11 message edited by mwoods628
I assume you've done the Simple Simon bit of mine at #13 on that thread? When you said you've turned off IE, do you mean you also had these script errors from an alternative browser?
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I turned off IE under the control panel option in Win 8. for turn Windows features on/off. No, I only get script errors in IE, not Chrome. Yes I did the simple simon fixes way before this. message edited by mwoods628
No harm turning IE back on again and running the Reset. It will lose add-ons, but they soon come back with usage. Favorites remain but any special customizations are removed (inc your home page). Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
