Solved Problems converting CD disc format from UDF to NTSF

Specs: Windows 64
I am using convert e: /fs:ntfs
where e is a cd

I get cannot convert volume on this device

volume does not have a label

To my knowledge, you can't change the CD format.

If you are trying to run a DVD in a CD drive, that won't work either. You have to have an DVD drive.

Yeah, convert e: /fs:ntfs converts a fat or fat32 volume on a hard drive to NTFS:

It's not something that will work on cd/dvd disks.

Maybe I'm having a bad day but what you are asking doesn't seem to make any sense.

UDF is a CD/DVD format.

NTFS (like Fat32) is a file system format used for Windows.

You need to tell us what it is you are trying to do and if you have some specific need to do this in command prompt.
