Specs: windows 8, 2.793 GHz / 4 gig
I have a problem in my administrative profile subfolder.

In user Profile is a seperate window. It has one Default profile which it says is 1.34 mb in size.

It also has my administrative Profile which I will call "MyName" which is 497 mb in size , but then it has an old \ subfolder \ next to it which was my old administrative username. Windows 8 will not allow me to edit , delete , or Rename this old subfolder of mine. When I try to got to Prperties on this it will not allow me to edit my own Adminissstrative Prifile because its only my old usrname that Im trying to delete, Is there a way to delete my old subfolder username without having to Re-Install windows 8 ?

IF you are absolutely sure that it is not necessary for the proper running of Windows then try this program:

I do not know the program personally but I trust the source as I have used a number of quality programs from Malwarebytes.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

The usual way to deal with this is to take ownership of the folder and subobjects. Then you can alter the security settings and/or delete the folder.
