Well I have this brand new Samsung NP540U3C-A02UK ultrabook. Wnat I want to do is to make the Win8 back Disk which is around 15 GB. I am trying to use 2 dual layer DVDs to make the backup. But in Samsung recovery it don't show the H driver (DVD drive) to make the backup, it's only showing the drive of hard drive. Any help please. Thank you

If you go to your drives via the desktop is the H drive showing there?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Sorry, its a bit too new for me. Silly question but has it got a CD/DVD drive incorporated, the ones I saw in Google didn't appear to have one?

I'm with Derek:
According to the spec's I found on line for this model, it doesn't have a DVD drive.

If there is no CD/DVD drive then you could use an external or possibly a flash drive.

Thanks.

I can only think of a couple of things. Maybe it doesn't like double layered DVD's - see if it sees a single layer DVD.

More likely, perhaps, something is awry with the Samsung recovery package. As it is so new Samsung support would be your best option.
