Solved My BackupNow EZ setup.exe got deleted when computer crashed

Specs: Windows 8.1
Does anyone have a download for BackupNow EZ setup.exe ????
Since this is gone I can't open the automatic back up, so I have to manually put files on the hard drive.

"BackupNow EZ setup.exe" is the installation file. It shouldn't be needed to run the program, only for re-installation.

That's the problem. My computer crashed and the entire program got deleted. I need to reinstall the program, which is why I need the setup.exe file to install.

Programs don't get deleted when a computer crashes. I have a feeling you're leaving a LOT of info out of your explanation. Regardless, did you click the link in my other response?

I must have unknowingly deleted it before the computer crashed, so now I can't reinstall it. When me computer crashed I had to take it all the way back to the factory reboot, so nothing extra was on the computer. I am not a tech person, all I am trying to do it get my external hard drive to work automatically again.

I clicked on the link, that way I would have to buy the software, I shouldn't have to do that since this external hard drive is less than a year old. I have contacted NTI but have not heard anything back.

I have the serial number to my Toshiba external hard drive, but not the software that came on it. When I enter the S/N on the back of the HD it says it's invalid. As for the link fro NTI about emailing them, I did that last week, they said they got it from a automatically generated email, but have not heard anything else back from them.

The serial/license number is needed for the program.

As the program came with the Toshiba external hard drive, it will probably be with the CD that came with the drive or in the manual.

This is the email that they sent me.

Go ahead and download the .zip file from the link. Once downloaded you can go ahead and unzip it, and then extract the contents to the Toshiba drive. The Backup Now EZ will be in the “NTI” folder, so you can run the “Setup.exe”. Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a great day!
