Make firefox your default browser. All softwares open the default browser in such cases.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your fast comment. Unfortunately, your proposed solution doesn't work.
I know there are several settings possible to make FireFox (FF) the default browser. I specified FF earlier and I was not able to gain a change in browser usage.

Any Better idea?

Best regards from Germany,
Hans

Hi XpUser4Real,
The gadget (gadgets were earlier populare in WIN 7) under discussion 'gadget All Search V 2.1' is a little application which enables you to search for a subject using different sources for an answer (e.g. Web, Amazon, Wikepedia...). You insert the subject you are looking for in one line, tick the preferred source and automatically the browser starts.
Thats it..
Best regards,
Hans

you can try opening IE and then see if the default browser is ticked...if it is, then untick it and things should go to FF...also...thanks for your answer to my question

Hi,
question to the Moderator:
if there is no "Best Answer" because the problem was not solved by any answer, what shall I select as "Best Answer"?
I would like e.g. to select an answer for specific reasons (fast, complexity, etc.) although the problem was not solved.
Is there a possibility to tell the community the reason, why the selected answer is the best answer?

Best Regards
Hans
