This is usb keyboard; and bought to replace what model? Not that the model ought to impinge here as these devices are essentially plug in and go...

Have you tried another usb keyboard (one which you "know" is working OK)?

This M$ discussion seems to relate to a similar situation..?

I have never had to install drivers for a usb keyboard but it seems that (some at least) Logitech kit does require them: This link has them (updated) for your keyboard.

It's not the actual Logitech site but does appear to have the genuine item... I would advise you to manually install the drivers - rather than use the automatic option (if proffered); and carefully uncheck any pre checked boxes (so helpfully) checked for you) so as to avoid installing a load of other stuff you really don't want.

However... This Logitech support area:

clearly states that: No software or App is needed to use this product

So I'd be wary of the download link I've posted... Also perhaps test the keyboard on another working system; and carry out the tests as per the M$ article... You "may" just have a duff "new" keyboard (if it has never worked for you); not unknown...?
