Issues with Mozilla Thunderbird quota exceeded

Specs: Windows XP
On my one account on my Thunderbird Email it says 101% and is in read when I try to delete emails it won't let me. When people send me emails I dont get them. Also If I try and move email to a file it won't let me. When I click on the 101% it brings up a box with 5 Tabs at the top the one it is open too says Quota then in the smaller box it says Quota root "storage=0"
Usage: 412707 of 409600 KB Used
Status 101% full.
Please help me fix this.

Sounds like your ISP has a mailbox size limit. Are you able to delete anything? Have you tried emptying the trash/Deleted items mailbox?

Try, File > Compress Folders.
