Solved Is Rabbit TV basically the same as NetFlix?

December 29, 2013 at 06:26:10
Specs: Windows 8.1
I have Net Flicks. I was given a "rabbit TV" which advertises over 5000 free TV internet channels, 25,000 free movies & 50,000 free radio stations. I plugged it into my desktop & getting lots of commercials. Is this basically the same as Net Flicks & does it make sense to have both? Thanks & Happy New Year.

From what I've read, Rabbit TV is just a USB jump drive filled with a bunch of online links to TV & movies sites. There's nothing on it that can't be run without it, the only "benefit" is that is has all the sites categorized & indexed. And yes, there are ads.

You could just as easily go directly to the websites, but you need to know what they are. Here's a few that I have bookmarked, they're aslo available thru Roku:

Crackle >> http://www.crackle.com/
Free Movies Cinema >> http://www.freemoviescinema.com/
Popcornflix >> http://www.popcornflix.com/
Snagfilms >> http://www.snagfilms.com/
Viewster >> http://www.viewster.com/

The moderator edited that he had 'de-bolded all-bold fonts'. I guess he didn't like your usage of font options. It's just a funny word. "Yikes, I've been debolded!"

Netflix's doesn't have commercials. Doesn't appear this was noticed. Its one of the reasons I don't use Hulu. Hula even when you pay still has commercials.
